Tove Lifvendahl was born in 1974, Seoul, Korea. She has a bachelor's degree in History from Uppsala University. She lives in Uppsala with her family.
Ms Lifvendahl is currently Political Editor at daily newspaper Svenska Dagbladet. She is also a lecturer and freelance writer who regulary comments political news in public television. She is the author and co-author of several books on social affairs, migration, integration and social entrepreneurship. Prior to joining Svenska Dagbladet, Ms. Lifvendahl has been Senior Fellow at independent think tank Fores, Director of Communication at the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, and a consultant in strategic communication and public affairs at the JKL Group.
Ms Lifvendahl was President of the Moderate Party’s Youth League (2000-2002) and remained as a member of the Board of Directors for the Moderate Party until 2005. She has also had several assignments in the third sector, and is currently advisor to The Swedish Crown Princess Couple's Foundation, which aims to promote good health and combat exclusion among children and young people in Sweden.
